Genesis – Part 1

Spacetime

In the beginning, there was darkness.  In the darkness met two gods, one male, and one female.  Together, they used a tool called energy to cause an explosion.  The male god made Time out of energy and named it after himself. The female god, named the Gravitational Force, made Space out of energy.

Together, they created three more gods, all male, all made out of time, and all called time as well, after their father.  Separately, to distinguish them, these three were given nicknames: Past, Present, and Future.

Past was oldest, and most aggressively protected his family, because he felt it was his duty.  He felt the need to protect them so strongly, that he sometimes didn’t notice he was hurting them by holding them so tight.  Present, being in the middle, was most frequently ignored.  He didn’t mind though.  On the contrary, he preferred to be left to do as he pleased, for he found joy in simply observing his parents and brothers.  Future, being the youngest, and the favorite of both parents, gained the most from his older brothers’ experience and was, therefore, more curious by nature.

Forces

Together, Time and Gravity then created three more gods, all female, all made out of space.  The eldest was named the Strong Nuclear Force.  The two younger sisters were identical twins, referred to collectively as the Electroweak Force for short since they had so much in common.  To differentiate them, these two younger gods were separately called the Electromagnetic Force and the Weak Nuclear Force.  Because each sister had two conflicting sides to her personality, each of these new female gods added a dimension to space.  The two sides of each of each of the three sisters’ personalities stretched out, creating a space that was no longer linear but was instead three-dimensional.

Quarks

Future, wanting to welcome his new sisters, used the help of his mother, Gravity, to create Matter, and split it into three Particles, one for each sister, named Quarks collectively.  He then split each of those quarks into two, to represent the two sides of each girl’s personality.  First, he made two for his eldest sister, nicknamed Up and Down, in her favorite color, red.  Not wanting to leave out her sisters, he made two more ups and two more downs, one of each in each of the other two sister’s favorite colors, which were green for the middle sister, and blue for the youngest.

Next, he made two more in each color for his middle sister and named them Strange and Charm.  Finally, he made two more in each color for his youngest sister and called them Top and Bottom.  He created many copies of each particle and planned to bestow them upon his eldest sister and to instruct her to share them with the others.

Past, upon being told of Future’s plan, and not wanting to be outdone by his younger brother, convinced his mother to share Future’s designs for the quarks and to help him make a similar gift for his sisters.  He decided to try to create six quarks as well, using his brother’s designs, but in order to make the designs his own, he reversed the designs, and he called his Particles Antimatter instead. He created many copies just like his brother, although not as quickly or as skilfully, and although he was unable to create as many as his brother, he asked Future if he could accompany him when he went to grant the particles upon the sisters.
